how are they? how to solder them?
   ANARIT-119 (36%)
these are ok... like use 1mm shrink tube for this. these are generally used for sevo wires. but then it'll make your joint very thick. might aswell use servo plugs... more easy to use... and mind you, it isnt easy to get solder into these 0.8mm plugs...
   Metalkiyo (90%)
some units do not fit well (slack in the connection).
   RichT (68%)
You need to purchase some fine guage solder to get into the small holes in these. Radioshack has fine solder for electronics... works good.
   glen (43%)
they work great. use a dab of flux on wire and inside connector. tin wire only. fit in connector. use wide tip for iron. insert wire and heat outside of conn while holding thin solder at joint.

easy to solder , very handy for making your own balance plugs . pins fit lipo balance plugs and r/c plugs .

Whats the best method to solder these connectors? I'm connecting a turnigt 1606 to a 6A esc. I've never soldered anything smaller than a 3.5mm bullet. Any tips would be great.

1mm Heat Shrink Tube!
   Metalkiyo (90%)
there is no secret, I soldered in the same way as others. I put some solder on the wire and on the connector, after heating the connector and put the wire inside.
Understand my english?

   slimage (27%)
if you have the alligator jig just clamp one in there and put your pre tined wire inside then heat the outside with your iron add a little solder to end for strength the heat will draw the solder inside

Hi,
What is their overall length (both parts connected)?
Thanks!
   habitforming (66%)
Attached together it is 20.3mm from end to end.

The female bullet is 12.2mm
The male bullet is 14.0mm.

You can also trim the soldered portion of these connectors to make them lighter without losing strength.

FlyingMonkey (97%)
How many A can they get?
   Miles-away (72%)
I wouldn't use these on applications with more than 10A. For higher currents use the 2mm version.

0.8mm correpsond to apporx. 20 gauge wire in size. Absoulute maximum current for 20 awg is limited at 1.5Amps, and if you derate absolute rating by 50%, then it's about 0.75 Amps at norminal use. I wound NOT use this connector if load currenet exceed 1Amp in any condition.
