Hi guys,

Does someone has specs of this micro motor with a GWS 4025-prop?
   Todd (74%)
From bsdmicro At 3.5 volts and a 4x2.5 prop it develops 42g of thrust with an amp draw 2.5A

I can't seem to get more than 20 grams of thrust with a GWS 3020 propeller. I'm using an ar6400, the hobbyking XP 3A 1S .7g ESC, and I've got that hooked directly up to a 130mah 1 cell lipo.

When I put a GWS 4025, I get closer to 30 grams of thrust, but it still isn't as advertised.

Can anyone help?

Jonathan, I believe those 130mah 1 cell lipos are rated at 8-10C which means they're running hot above about 1-1.3Amps. I haven't played with this motor myself yet, but that's one potential theory for why you're not getting the thrust you expect.

Hi,yes I use ESC 1g 3A very very good, good choice. What kind of prosaver this motor?
   Andraz (22%)
the smalest propsaver here fits 2mm shafts, you should try to put some shrink tube on the shaft, that should get you .5mm you're looking for

Good luck :D

The only thing they got for 1,5mm shaft is this adapter with questionable quality: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8720
