Hi, does anyone from HK can tell us when they expect this servo to arrive in stock?
  Reply:  jcaleia (6 points);
Gents, latest new from HK is that they expect this servo within one to two weeks...
totoro (23 points) 11/11/2009
Any one know if this Servo is compatible with HK 401B Gyro ?
acepro (8 points) 10/14/2009
Out Of Stock already?
How many had come back in stock to begin with?

Just a quick note, I ordered five of these servos, four for the HK-T500. Three had 180mm leads and two 260mm leads. The 180mm leads are only just long enough to use as AIL and PIT to reach the reciever tray. So keep that in mind if you get the short leads, you will need think over your wiring path carefully. Plus the servo arms only make 15mm length on the last hole so I used some spare Futaba arms that I luckily had spare to get to 16.5mm

you don't really want to use these for the tail on your helicopter, they are good for the cyclic, but get a faster servo for the tail.

If you want to clear the top of the case when using these in a 500 size heli... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewFPFAXc3dA&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ercgroups%2Ecom%2Fforums%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D991948%26page%3D42%23post12973113&feature=player_embedded

Anyone with comments on their HC recommended servos for the HK500. I jumped the gun by getting the Park HPX which don't fit perfectly like these.
  Reply:  TinuZ (8 points);
I almost did as well, ordered these instead. Will let you know when they are mounted in the HK-T500... I will use a hyperion Atlas Digital on the tail
  Reply:  Burnaby (212 points);
Decided to use the Park HPX since I already have them. Will use these on 2nd build if quality pans out.
  Reply:  BPGoa (1046 points);
the hk 500 comes with spacer mounts to allow the hpx servo to fit... i bought the hpx also:*)
  Reply:  Ghostfit (104 points);
So the questions is on which one is better ?
The GWS HPX or the Towerpro MG930, any with both and planning to do the test ?
  Reply:  Ghostfit (104 points);
edit: ...anyone with both and planning to do the test ?
  Reply:  Ghostfit (104 points);
Okay, might as well reply to myself ! :)

Fitted and flew with the TP930MG, servos feels good and I don't think I'll bother swapping out to the GWS HPX.

Interesting ** the picture shows that it uses 4 mounting screws but the accompanying drawing shows two ** and hardware package appears to contain only two gromets and mounting screws. So can we trust the other specifications given?
  Reply:  Futter73 (23 points);
I hope it has 4!!!
T-Rex 500 needs 4...
  Reply:  Jason5001 (1053 points);
It has 4.
  Reply:  Ghostfit (104 points);
I am sorry Jason, but all of mine arrived with only 2 !
The parts in the packet are exactly as shown in the picture !
  Reply:  po_au (215 points);
I ordered 4, all all them only come with 2 mounting gromets.
  Reply:  BoltFace (116 points);
same here, only came with 2! ugghh
  Reply:  t3beatz (257 points);
In a heli you don't want to use gromets anyway! you want a good fixed servo on the cyclic, the gromets make the servos flex, gromets are not needed on the clyclic...
  Reply:  daybyter (1 points);
Are there different versions of this servo? I tried 4 different versions of futaba servo arms on 2 of my TP 930MG servos and none of them fitted. All of them had several dgs slop, as if the teeth on the servo are too thin.
  Reply:  Eric1180 (715 points);
Hey are these to small for a .50 heli?
