Does this motor com with the mounting screws?
   miszcz_waw (65%)
No, it comes without them.
   scorpia (50%)
This motor doesnt come with screws or plugs for the wire. it needs M3 screws , 5-6mm depending on your motor mount.

I've bought 3 of these now and none have included screws. Sort of annoying, but the price is good.
   NumnutChriS (36%)
No, mine (2 pcs) came just as in the image, only motor. You are supposed to use the hardware supplied with your heli! (pinion and screws)

did anyone run this motor by it self and notice vibration and noise, it seems way out of balance, sounds like it might explode.

thanks
   Hichol (78%)
O K
I got it, I just add little soldering lead to next to magnet then check balance it seem its running smooth now. Use two glass cup and new feathering shaft for 450 work out okay.

for the price i can't return it, little quality control myself. It comes with the hobby.
   Tiaosms (44%)
Hello Friend, you have to check the amount of the engine, it may be that the screws are out of relegation.
   speed freek (80%)
I ran mine on 3000mah 3s 25c lipo on a 40amp ESC and it was screeming , did not notis any vibrations but chek two screws on cooling fan mine was lose put thred lock all ok.
   mrclavo (27%)
i had no problems with mine
   NumnutChriS (36%)
It should not be different from any other motor. Weve run it in 3S and 4S applications.

Hello,
fins that are at the bottom of the engine running as they should?
So that it enters the air or the contrary?
Thank you very much.

PS: I confirmed that the engine is a 6-pole magnets?

Thanks
   Beamers (57%)
From the pict I see and according to the rotation direction at 450 heli application, the bottom Fin should suck the air and out it at the top.
   Tryin2fly (55%)
Hello,
Hey guys thought I would let you know that the fins on the bottom are removable you can turn it anyway you need to so don't let that stop you, It works very well indeed!!
   Maccanaut (21%)
Are those fins available for sale?? I broke one in a crash and prefer not to have to replace the whole motor when i only need a fin.

How/where can I get 10T, 11T, 12T & 13T pinions for this motor to use in a HK450 Heli ?
   RoadWarrior (89%)
Look "Part # F050" in Category HK450 Parts. There's a 11T and 13T for 3.17mm shafts.
   sean (60%)
ive put this in a zoom 400,there is a 10 tooth/3.17 pinion made for the zoom , it will fit the shaft but u have to use retaining compound and be very quick assembling it onto the shaft as i discovered!

The similar scorpion motor 2221-8 at 3595KV pulls 475 watts.

Does anyone knows how many watts does this motor pull? If this motor draws a higher wattage, I would like to give it a go! :-)
   vasy1 (56%)
I get around 750 in my 70mm EDF

   t3beatz (88%)
Check the reviews tab, use a 11T, or 12T pinion and you should be fine.
   sandyjain (53%)

   RoadWarrior (89%)

2215H meaner brother. If it's anything like the 2215 should be a hit, wonder what the real kv is.
   mr.sneezy (54%)
Yep, lots of bonus points to the first person to properly verify the kV !
   Burnaby (71%)
EatAtJoes (Elias) in review section states "like the 2215H review I found the KV is understated and is 3600kv."

   vasy1 (56%)
I have the motor, don't know how to test KV :)
don't have any equipment for it that i know off.
   Ghostfit (75%)
vasy1>You can now test KV with one of these:h t t p :// aerialhobby.c o m /index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=341
   alieng1234 (80%)

MY MEASUREMENT:
45221rpm idle with fully charged 3s lipo (~12.5V) with Kontronik Jazz 40 ESC. That makes approx. 3560KV. However this value may vary depending on the ESC parameters (i.e. timing).
   alieng1234 (80%)
Correction: 3618kV if calculated with 12.5V
