I like this radio.I use it with batteries Turnigy 2300mah AA battery NiMH.Consumed current nearby 160-180mA. But it isn't important, the main thing that now you can not carry a laptop to change the settings on the field.There is a simple device on microcontroller PIC16F887 which allows save and load of 8 customisations of models! HI. CAN I FIT LI-PO BATTERY TO THIS TX? TX HAS CHARGER PORT? CAN I USE ONE TX WITH 4 DIFERENT PLANES IF I BUY 4 RX? THANKS JAIME

Yes, of course. For example this Turnigy 1450mAh Tx LiPoly Pack will be fit perfect. But a little soldering work will be needed... Yes, you can use (after binding) several Rx with one Tx.

Can somebody please tell me will this TX work with Esky Head hold gyro. I will very much appreciate your replies. Thank you in advance.
I ordered TX Hobbyking HK-T6A-M2 and cable, and receive a couple of days. I downloaded driver and setup the cable successfully. But when I connected TX with the cable and choose the com port from menu setting of T6CONFIG program, the computer was frozen.

Hi!I have this transmitter for 6 months now, and three receivers. Last moth i experienced some strange thing. Somethimes, when I plug Batteries to ESC, and BEC, receiver wont power UP!?! Everything is OK with the batteries, connections, BEC, but it just don't start. I tryied with all receivers, but there is no pattern, when not to work. Does anyone have similar problemm with HK6?Now, I'm verry scared to fly my planes, because do not know, when receiver will stop working. Any info is welcome! Thank You!MkoMarac

try direkly power with 4 x aa batteries at te receiver and only a servo for testing pluged into. test without bec. i think that will be dead. cause its impossible that all receivers are broken at the same time wolfgang
mkomarac (0 points);
Sure. I ve tryied that too, but random, the receiver does not power on. It is verry strange, and I have no more confidence in HK-T6A.

Hi! I have problems with this Kit. During the flight happened to me that the airplane for some reason started to dive, although I gave the airplane appeared to descend. After nervous action full of adrenaline, I managed to calm down and landing aircraft. This happened to me several times and therefore do not trust more to this command set. Does anyone have any idea if I am missing something here in the assembly.Thank you!Tom

Hi! It's working OK. I remembered that when I built the airplane forgot vpariti the receiver to the transmitter, so that canceling the above publication. They happen to occur when a man in a hurry forget to make a significant and important procedure. Product now give an assessment of five crowns.

Anybody know how to reset this transmitter. I just received this transmitter. After connecting it to the PC, I was able to see the throws from all the channels. Next I bound it to a receiver and then lost the throws for channel 2.Although the price for this transmitter is low, it is only grief. There is absolutely no documentation.

dos hise receiver work with a 3call battery
Reply:
boker (1 points);
If you mean 3s Lipo, then yes. HK have two products you could use. However you need to do some soldering to connect the battery or install a plug to accept the battery. Check dimension of the battery, be sure it is no more than 14mm thick. I using a rhino 750, but there is turnigy 1450.
stgram12 (2 points);
No WAIT! The rx will NOT work! All receivers work on 4.8-6volts! You need a BEC or a separate battery to power the receiver! But the transmitter will work, it requires 9-12volts.

Hello, Is there a possibility to bind two receivers to one transmitter? And two receivers will work at the same time? I have one receiver in HK450 helli and I would like to buy second receiver and connect it to plane. Can two receivers be binded to one transmitter?

What kind of cable do I need to plug the transmitter into my computer? Do they sell them here? And where do I download the programming software?

Never mind about the cable. I found it. I still have the question about the software though.

Oh, another question. I need to use a 1S lipo to power the receiver for a glider project. Will this work? Has anyone tried it? Sorry for all the questions.

I'm happy with mine (Turborix branded), Nice basic programable system. No glitches up to 200 meters on multilple Rx's. 8xAA batteries, digital and analouge trim, end stop, DR, no expo, 1 model memory onboard (back to PC to change), 3x mixes (any), mode 3 programable, heli or plane, program cable will not work for sims.
Very good product with a good range- even with a single Transmitter I never had any trouble. Better for use with Alkaline Batteries, akkus wont work that long. Pro: -Good Range -Most features you will ever need can be programmed via PC (any MIX you can imagine and so on) -good price! -free software can be found on the net, for example for pocket pc... contra:-No Model Memory included, so you need a (pocket) PC to change the model -Original Software works not perfect on every system -Sticks will wear out a little if used for a long time, so ultra high precision maneuvers wont be easy to fly- but dont worry, this is only a matter for absolute experts- standart users wont even recognize this
A really great System for a low price.
TIP: Before you change anything with the Software, Save the original settings to your computer, so you always have a working base from which you can start programming.

i have this radio from "another brand". it's nice cheap radio with some interesting features. channels 5 and 6 are on the rotating pots. switches can be set for dual rates and throttle cut. throttle curve is only for the heli and i haven't tried heli mode. with planes this radio works well, it's a great match for AXN Floater-Jet or other "cheap" parkflyer. it have 3 mixes, with some fiddling with the mixes it is possible to configure a v-tail mix

Very good range and I trust it for larger model use. However, I only gave it 4 stars because it was not easily programmable in the field without bring out my laptop. And, most importantly, Hobby City should have made an easier more direct link to the manual and software, even if it doesn't have their label on it (I had to go on a long hunt to find them in another blog). The flyskychina.com link was too confusing. Part 1.....

Yes it does supports CCPM. I currently owned a Turborix branded Tx, bought 2 6ch Rx HK branded, binded and works well, I used for my 4 ccpm helis which included a T-rex 450, I'm very happy with the quality and price, and now going to buy 1 more HK branded Tx for backup. PS. If you guys out there need any help on how to setup the Tx for helis, pls email me: haingocluu@hotmail.com then I'll send you my config file. Cheers

Awesome value for a programmable 6ch radio, I bought two with four extra Rx's (total 6 Rx's!).
I use the radios for my CCPM Helis, motor gliders (long range) and my scale aircraft.
The only drawback with this system is that you need either a laptop or a palm PC if you want to program on the field, because the programming is not done on the Tx, but on a computer. Model profiles are therefore virtually limitless.

Hmm, how to rate this one... One out of two failed the first week, but the other one works extremely well. And I can buy 8 more and still pay less than one Futaba system here in Sweden :)

Also erst PL-2303, dann CP210x

Great little radio for those small electric and other planes. Not sure if I would trust it for a giant scale or some other. But so far the three I have purchased for park fliers has been fine. BTW, if you are purchasing the programing cable, you can buy the mode 1 TX and reprogram it to Mode 2 using the cable. Mode 1 seems to go out of stock quicker then the mode 2 box's

Excellent system, particularly for the money. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE PC CORD THOUGH. The radio comes without a cord, software or manual, and without those you can't even reverse a servo. Except for fine-tuning, all adjustments are made by PC. It's not rocket science but you will need to get and install the cord's driver, find and install the software and read the manual just to use this system.
