Purchased 2 of these. One came with no fan blade. The second one has a fan housing so out of round that the fan blade significantly rubs the shroud.
They get two stars for being dirt cheap.

I purchased two(2)of these 63 mm edf units to install in my just completed SU-27,one operates fine lots of power,the second caught fire.
The real problem is they are now out of stock so I can't exchange or purchase another and I need two edf's to fly the SU-27,now I have to purchase two additional fans of another type,if you get one check the fan clearence and use a heat sink,if you get a good one it is a bargain at this price

Just received two of these fan units. Both of them were identical to the photo. Both fans seem to rub slightly from the factory but I have encountered this with other fan units I have purchased.
I ran both units, to full throttle, and received decent numbers. One fan pulled about 24-25A @ about 318W. The other fan pulled about 26-27A @ about 334W. Both units were ran on the HC Rhino 3S 2150's. Slight difference between each motor.

Very good price for the motor, which is good for my mini speed boat.
But it doesnt contain any rotor, you must buy rotor separately.

Very good price.
The blade seem not balance
I dont worry, after run in some minutes, the blades are shorter and balance so.
now I have to purchase two more for my F18 blue angel

| do not buy it dont buy it , i hooked up to my phace 3 f 16 with 45 amps speed control and 11.1 v 2200 battery 3 cell , barley took off , no thrust , but i landed safley , i lokked indside and one off th blades snaped , cheap and bad quality

i just received two of this powerfull edf, i made an exhaust cone 12 cm long and 85% decresing outlet and i `d got more than 600 gr with 1600 3s 20c lipo batt static thrust, really screams, fine for my home made f-16 i am building, 5 stars( super simple 50A esc, overdimensioned just in case)
the price about us$12 just dont say

| i purchased one of these, the blade is not balance, fan seem to rub slightly from the factory. The shaft adaptor can't be removed to readjusted it position.

| Fantastic price and a great inrunner motor. The unit does need the impeller to be checked over. Mine is ever so slightly off center and this shows when moving the impeller by hand...variations in wall distance. One blade had factory 'Sharpie' type marks on it and this was seen to be 1mm or so longer than the others. 1/2 throttle gave a little rub and so this blade was sanded. The shroud will flex, watch for that. All fine now :)

| The housing is a bit flimsy, but this is only an issue when testing in hand. Once properly mounted, the blades do not rub at all. Good thrust, and for the price... EXCELLENT PRODUCT. you may need to tighten the fan screw - I'm sure we can all live with that!

| after the mandatory fan balance i fitted this to my home made depron mig 29 with a auw of 475g. using 30a esc 1800 turnigy 3s bat and the plane in the vetical position with the tip agaist my palm of my hand and at full thrust the jet will try and accelerate. the exact thrust is unknown but doing this test it must be in excess of 475g. i have yet to fly jet but performance should be quite satisfactory

| i forgot to mention in my review that i made a cardboard jet pipe that has a 55mm outlet, im sure that this pipe increases total thrust quite alot

| I'm extremely disappointed with that EDF63 with 4300kv motor. I bought three of these in different orders and as yet I received two. Both with the fan bad finished and unbalanced. Fan blades seem cut as if originally they root larger. One have the adapter (shaft-fan) with the shaft hole completely out of center, so their use is inviable!!! I dismounted that and will use the parts as a replacement. Finlay, I bought one EDF by the cost of two. Really it's not a good deal.
