I got one of this one.. it lasted for 2 months then it was dead. i checked everything. i found out that the powercord was wery weak. replaced it with a new one and the charger was OK

This is MAX current, if you only need 7A, there's no problem since the power supply can handle 12A ... *)

just received mine. Looks pretty straight forward. Plug in to mains (shuko plug) and connect to charger. There was no instruction manual. Wondering if there are any special precautions to follow.

12.5A * 12V = 150W So, if you use your charger just for not-too-big batteries, it's ok. If you want to use the full power of your charger, you should take a 20A supply at least. 25 should be a good start.
