Hi, like most things..They will gradually stop manufacturing them as more people buy the V2. There are still a few suppliers on ebay that have them in stock if you get stuck!

I have the TX Eurgle and FS-CT6A. The flysky RX FS-R8A works whit 2 TX. I receiver my Hobby King 2.4Ghz Receiver V1 6Ch ut don't works with the TX Eurgle and flysky FS-CT6A. I tried make bind, but don't works, the led keep flashing.
   Juha (86%)
The old HK-TR6A receiver binds and works fine with EURGLE 9 ch transmitter. I am using the HK-TR6A receiver without cover and without the satellite receiver to save weight. Range is still quite good for indoor flying. Anyone know which of the other small 2.4 GHz receivers work with EURGLE TX?
   ALBERTONB (34%)

I have Eurgle 9ch Tx and FS-CT6A and a bunch of HK v1 receivers 8ch and 6ch, and all work well. You may be binding improperly
   gafarabr (84%)
Lightwave,
This is my procedure to make binding
1-I put the jumper in ch battery in th rx.
2-put battery in ch1 the rx
3-turn on the TX radio
4- after tx on, I press the button the tx module

It is good that HobbyKing is still selling the V1 receivers (well I hope they are re-stocking hasn't happened for over 40 days now). I am worried because I now have 5 of the V1 type receivers and they no longer stock the V1 transmitters. If I upgrade to V2 how long will that be around for, and if my kid drops my transmitter one more time on the floor, I cant buy another transmitter to bind with all my receivers. Any ideas or does anybody want to sell their V1 gear to me?
   deanc (45%)
same here I need to buy some more v1 rx units for my other models. Hope they restock soon.
   killioughtta (-12%)

   deanc (45%)
Yup that's a good idea. But my futaba with HK module and HK rx units still serves me well and far cheaper than a single spek RX.

Previously there was a Hobby King Module, (at least for JR type radios). I have one & it is excellent. It of course works with the Turnigy 9X & allows the very well priced HK receivers to be used with it.
Many friends would purchase the Turnigy 9X if they could get the Module as I have. Any chance of Hobby King getting the HK JR module (to suit the Turnigy 9X) back in????
   Flying Goat (72%)
eurgle.......same module. I use it with the HK Tx and Rx. Works perfect with 6 and 8 ch rx's
   CANNON8026 (73%)
flysky module is used with the Turnigy 9X module and works with these receivers perfect. Use a search engine to find these under keyword "FS MODULE"
   CANNON8026 (73%)
Correction: fly sky module works with Turnigy 9X transmitter for these receivers HK-TR6A and the HK-R8A receivers.
   George (49%)
You can buy the Eurgle or Flysky they are the same TX and RX.

Will this receiver bind do FLYSKY GT-3?
   mbullick (33%)
As far as i can tell it will only bind to exceed/flysky/turborix/hobbyking 4-6 chan transmitters T4a-T6a. (there all the same line rebadged)
   Grzegorz (58%)
I've ordered one anyway, so I will confirm if it works :)

As far I understand the Flysky gt-3 transmitter has exactly the same transmitting module (the removable one) as the Turnigy 9x transmitter, additional it is NOT compatible with other 3channel transmitters, so... there is a chance it will work with this one - I hope :)
   Grzegorz (58%)
*mbullick, you were right. This receiver does not bing to FlySky/Eurgle Gt-3 version 3 tx (the one with fail safe). I just did test on it and nothing happened.

Anyway, those receivers are cheep, so nothing lost! *-)

To Bind, connect your ESC and Battry to the RX. The red light will flash on the small RX part. Hold the button on the back of Your TX and while holding trun on your TX. Binding should happen within a few seconds and the light on the RX will stop flashing.
Turn off both and start Tx then RX all should be good now.
   George (49%)
Sorry I forgot to mention you need to connect the Binding plug to the BAT connection on the RX first.
Remove it after the Binding is done. Then swith off all Turne the Transmitter on then the RX and it all should work.

Hi...ULTRA Newbie and Electronics Challenged so Please be Gentle. Will this Rcvr work with DX6i? YES or NO? IF NO is there an HK RCVR that WILL or am I stuck with the High End Spektrum products? Thank you, so much!
   Lead Wings (89%)
Only Spektrum / JR gear will work with Spektrum/JR.

HK sells Spektrum Rx's - they are your only choice.
   electronic18 (47%)
Did you get the answer yet ? I have 1 DX6i too .If you have the answer ,please let me know . Thanks ( I saw in an other topic , one guy said He can bind with his Spektrum TX .This is his posting :Customer Rated
Happy customer |

You bind the receiver similar to the Spektrum DX6. You apply power (not using the BAT connector.) On the BAT connector connect the bind plug which connects the signal and ground together.. By the way, power supply polarity is ground is closest to the right side of the above photo with signal for the servos closest to the center of the receiver.
   Sfakias (35%)
It will not work with DX6i. I own a futaba 6EX and I am also stuck with expensive recievers. However, I bought the HK 2.4 Ghz transmitter/reciever at a fraction of a futaba reciever and I am using it with great results on many of my planes, which do not need more than 4 channels or fancy programming functions.

Is there a manual for the RX?

I'm trying to figure out what the default config is for this, what channel does what control surface? Does the ESC plug into the BAT port of the RX or one of the channels?
   deanc (45%)
I think it has the same channel assignment as futaba.
The ESC goes to Channel 3
   George (49%)
Channel 1 Ailarons
Channel 2 Elevator
Channel 2 ESC
Channel 4 Rudder
Channel 5 config
Channel 6 config
BAT port only used if your ESC don't have a BEC.

26/01/2010
Marin (72%)
Can you use it without the secondary antenna? Anyone done it without problems?
I plan to use this on a pretty small build with tight electronics, so I'd really appreciate if I could get rid of it in this case.
   deanc (45%)
Yes, you can remove the small RX unit and use the main RX. The only problem when using this setup is that you will loose RX diversity and possibly some range. But since you said you'll be using it on the pretty small build those problems will be a non-issue.

BTW, I use this setup without the small RX module on my Lama V4 and works without problems.
   Alisson Augusto (80%)
I not tryed it yet, but I think it should works normal...I think it just for large planes with metal parts that can causes shadows on the signal for the first antenna... but why don't you test it? try every command on the ground before fly
   leprud (99%)
It will work without satellite, however, maximum reliable distance will decrease significantly!
   ALBERTONB (34%)
si pero perderias algo de alcance segun que posicion con respecto al horizontal-vertical, yo lo pondria y quitaria las carcasas de plastico.

I like this TX/RX but.. See the figure above. I could see only short antenae. Mine has an odd length of 170 mm plus the damm 'satelite' I'm using the RX X8. I'll try forget the aux RX, I call satelite, AND cut the antena to only 30mm, as all civilized 2.4Ghz RX antenae. Does anybody has experience with this setup?? Let me know, please.

i cant bind it with my spektrum dx5e..
any idea's.?
please help
   deanc (45%)
I don't think it will bind with spektrum or futaba. 2.4G technology is mostly proprietary and one manufacturer has their own way of exchanging bind information.
This customer was awarded a credit for their answer.

I have a completely newb question. How is the Rx powered such as this one? I see the BAT port but I don't understand what plugs into it. I am planning on building an HK 450 but could someone briefly explain the Rx, ESC, and battery wiring and connectors? Will the following electronics play nice togather or will I need anything else?:Turnigy Typhoon 450H 2215H Heli Motor 3550kvTURNIGY Plush 40amp Speed Controller HXT900 - HXT900 9g / 1.6kg / .12sec Micro Servo Hobby King 401B AVCS Digital Head Lock GyroT2200.3S.30 - Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 30C Lipo Pack
   helimangler (81%)
Hi Christopher, the ESC will power the reciever through the throttle connection. UNLESS, you put in a UBEC unit, in which case you have to remove the red wire from the throttle (or whatever color the + wire is. Best to remove the little pin in the connector and tape it off in case you want to use it again for some reason. ONLY if you install a UBEC though. The battery connection on the RX will then be connected to the UBEC. Usually the throttle and battery connections on the RX are located next to each other, so channel six is (or should be, your throttle). I needed to put my pin back in to power up my receiver to bind it with my TX because the battery was the bind slot also. That is on a Spektrum receiver. Once the RX was bound, I removed it again and hooked my UBEC back up. I hope I didn't confuse you. A manual with the RX should tell you the channel designations of aileron, pitch, elevator, rudder, gear (aux)and throttle. Six channels... :-) Good Luck!! I am seriously thinking of buying these receivers, but I want them to bind with my DX6i. If they won't, I am stuck with the $50 receivers from Spektrum which are pretty good but spendy in comparison.

What is the Actual dimensions of receivers & what is that second component in picture having an antenna? Why is it for...?
   Sumeet (74%)
The question was mine but I got the answer in it's PDF manual.
The actual size of main Receiver is about(45 X 23 X 13.5mm)
while that of smaller one is (25 X 16.8 X 6.5mm). The second one is also a receiver and both should be kept in the way that there Antenna should make 90 degree's Angle. Two are always better than one.

Hi , ishady mentioned in the review section not to use more than 6 volts as the power source . many BEC Rx's can handle up to 9 volts. there is no specifications published on these Rx's . so i can't use the common 7.2volt batteries ??? my application is in a sail boat with two servos. thanks , james

G'day James.. I have the same use.. thought of going 7.4v lipo but by using HK 2200 mah nmh cells I get a hearty 6 v and my Monsoon sails for more than enough time for me per session.. Unless you used a bec the lipo could run under voltage ( you'll be aware of this. others might not).

Just got this Tx/RX. Had a bit of trouble with the T6config software. I keep getting "blue screen of death" on my vista machine and random reboots on my XP machine.

Found alternative software that seems more stable for me.

***********rcgroups****/forums/showpost.php?p=11762129&postcount=390

Had to install:
1) Ateasy (in runtime mode only)
2) Silicon Labs CP210x VCP drivers for 2000/xp/2003 Server/Vista
3) Programmer.zip included in the above linked post.

I have spent a couple hours playing with this package and not one crash.

I got heaps of these, love them. seem to work just as well without satelite reciever. Only trouble is you got 4 planes in the car, all bound to one reciever. Someone comes over for a chat. You better not forget to take batery out of last plane. Otherwise you are flying next plane unaware that last plane is trying to fly in your car. not pretty. Guess how i know this?
