Hello! Can someone who has the servo on hand tell me what is the distance between the end holes of the double-sided servo horn (the one in the middle on the picture). I think HXT900's is ~30mm and would be interested if this one is more. I'm aware the horns are not interchangeable.
Thank you!

I would agree with Jeff, mostly. Realistically, they are sloppy compared to other higher quality, but for pattern plane use, they are very good. I use these in my nitro / gas planes as throttle servos, and work perfect. I also have them in my 115 mph MPX Funjet as well as landing gear servos in my HL SU-34 Twin TV EDF. I just wouldn't use them for 3D.

I measured the servo current of these compared to the HXT900's. Both are about 0.005A idle and about 0.5A fully stalled. Not bad. This means they can replace the reliable HXT900's with no worry about excessive current usage.

At the price $7.79 I don't care if there isn't spare Metal Gears sold, once stripping better change the unit with the new one. But small thing just annoying me in case the servo horn only get broken, is there any horn that will suit with? My question based on experience using Inolab HG-D202MG, which resist crash after crash, never strip the gear, only changing the broken horn. The sad story that the price of its horn was more expensive than the whole unit of Hextronik MG-14 :-( Ouch... This servo seemed promising to me *-) Only less digital spec than Inolab. I just received my order of 8 of these servos* immediately did a visual function test. The servos appear to be of good quality, fit and finish. They are smooth in function and center accurately with no overshoot/undershoot. I have yet to install some in a model but so far they look good and at an excellent price. I'll report back once I've installed them in a model. BTW, all eight servos operate properly* that's pretty good considering the rash of defective servos I've been receiving from Hobby City this year (9320MG, SSV 9764MG, VS-12M) and just about everything that was made by the Scanner RC factory.
