Received battery in perfect condition. All cells came charged at 3.91 volts. Description measurements are accurate. Balance leads: 45mm Futaba discharge lead: 70mm JR discharge lead: 72mm
After cutting and lowering the battery floor on my Futaba 6EX 2.4 GHz, I can now use this battery or the original flat NiCd. Charged it up to 12.6 volts, and it works fandamntastic! Another winner. Thanks again Hobby King!

whoever plug a jr/spektrum connector to a "hitec" transmitter and found out he has a blow out (ouch!) need to learn basic electricity specially DC electric! the standard norm is Red wire =Positive... Black wire=Negative but u still going to watch out since alot of manufacturers doesn't use the "standard" color... jr/spektrum and others used brown wire = as negative so u have to watch those color coding! also on hitec transmitter, it has a safety tab if you used their "battery" so that you can't plug them in reverse... the problem is the jr/spektrum connector will fit on hitec BUT on reverse connection to use it "properly" ( please look first how your original hitec battery plug polarity i.e. positive on positive, negative on negative plug)so that you wont repeat the same mistake.. make a mark on your transmitter which is positive and negative.. please use common sense for any DC electric wiring!..
P.S. another tip: those people who are afraid of voiding their warranty and afraid that 12.6v will fried their transmitter, use a good charger that has a "storage function" like bantam.. i charged my lipo at 11.4v using the storage function.. it will not fully charge your lipo but hey a 11.4v lipo is not the same with a 11.6v nimh/nicd since they discharge differently (lipo is more efficient than nimh/nicd) which still equates to hours of uses compare to nicd/nimh before needing charges...
btw, if you don't have a storage function, you can just watch your charger charging t 71 people like this review.

| Hi I ordered two of these, one for myself and the other for a friend. I had the 1800mah version before this one which was replaced by this 2500mah, great product and with spectrum and futuba plugs, I used it for the first time alst weekend and it started at the full 12.6v and after over a hours use it had only dropped to 12.4v. 37 people like this review.

| Fantastic upgrade for my DX7, I had problems with the old battery keeping charge. Not any more, I have over 12v and heaps of fly time between charges. All that I did was change the charge plug to a jst connector. Thanks heaps!!! 29 people like this review.

Warning: I received 4 of these batteries for I have both Futaba and Hitec transmitters. The JR plug looked like it would fit my Hitec transmitters and it did. Problem, the polarity is backwards. I just burned out a Eclipse 7 FM Spectra Module and Transmitter. It can be used for Hitec but you will have to reverse the polarity of the JR connector! Gene 24 people like this review.

| Frick'n, out of this world. Pluged right in to my FUTABA 9 cap radio. 12.2 volts and holding steady. I don't think I'll have to charge it again until December. 20 people like this review.

| I have these packs in our Futaba 7C FASST radios and it's something you'll never regret purchasing. I still have yet to charge them but when the time comes I'll make an adaptor and use my lipo charger and it will be done in an hour compared to hours and hours using the wall charger for the stock nicads. 18 people like this review.

| Good for DX7. Comes with the JR connector. No need to solder and the extremely low C rating is friendly for our expensive radio. Don't forget to switch off your radio or you will screwed the pack. :) 18 people like this review.

What a battery!
I use them in my DX7 and DSX9 transmitters. There are no problems with the little bit higher voltage when the battery is fully charged. Just look at the voltage meter and if it is below 10.5V recharge the battery.
I made a test with my DSX9. After 12hours of continuous operating, the voltage went down to 11.2V Just take a little care about the balancing and that the battery doesn't reach the deep-discharge, then this is the battery without having any troubles. Buy them and use them, they are great!
Best regards, Joe. 14 people like this review.

| These lipo's are fantastic, perfectly fits to DX7, bought for my firend and myself. The good idea is to go to DX7 service meniu and set battery alarm at ~10.5V, when you will not have to monitor you batery condition. Ussage will be the same as orginal NiMH batery pack, except that flihtg time with charger battery now lasts for more than few weeks. Really recomended for stadart NiMH replacment. 13 people like this review.

This battery fit with JR 2720 without any modification. The connector 100% compatible. The most important thing is the long duration usage. Starting with fully charged 12.6V, after 60 minutes it's just drop 0.2 V to 12.4. After rest for 1 week, the voltage still arround 12.4V. 12 people like this review.

btw, if you don't have a storage function, you can just watch your charger charging the lipo to "11.6 to 12v" then shut them off.. if you happened to fully charged them at 12.6, you can discharge them to 12v-11.6v range if you are stil concerned burning your transmitter.. anyway, from my experience and others who still used it to full 12.6v, i didn't hear anyone of them of having a burnt transmitter unless of course they plug it "reversely"...
doing this to charge at 11.6v-12v will NOT VOID your warranty on the transmitter... i hope this help! 10 people like this review.

Excellent battery replacement for my Futaba 9CHPS. Fits super and will last a long time. It's been almost 1 month since I charged it and it's still showing 11.4V. I fly more than 3 days in a week with at least 3 flights per day.

| Wonderful product, installed in my DX7 (fits even better than original NiMH). Plenty of running time, it just can't be compared to the original! I highly recommend it to all DX7 users also because of prepared connector, no need to solder anything. 6 people like this review.

| The connector didn't fit my Graupner/JR MX-12 battery plug. I needed to use a cutter to make BOTH fit. That's why only 4 stars. 5 people like this review.
