If I understand correctly, you plug the two balance connectors on your two 3S 2200mAh batteries into the yellow connector. You don't plug your battery's Dean's connectors into anything. Then you plug the Dean's connector on the device into your charger's Dean's connector and set the charger to 6S, 22.2V and 1C or 2.2A. Do I have that right?

Yes, but you need to remember that you need connect two batteries with same specification (V,Ah,C), and manufacturer.

I not sure if I have a defective charge plug, but here are my results and it doesnt work. I have a G.T. A6 charge and tried charging two 2200 mah 3S 25 C Flightmaxx Lipos * 2.2 amps. I chose the 6 cell charge which it recognizes but when it starts charging it doesnt display any voltage for Cell 1 and 2. Cell 3 is like 4.95, Cell 4 and 5 are 2.6, and Cell 6 4.95. I believe I have setup everything correctly and the batteries both charge normal by themselves, so I can only conclude that I hav a defective plug. Has anyone else had this issue? They are pretty cheap so I might give another one another shot. Thanks!

This may help: The two batteries are charged through the balance connectors only. The balance lead wires can easily handle the less-than-5.0 amps that the charger is capable of outputting. So you connect the Dean's Connector of the device to the Charge Output of the Charger and the JST-XT 6S connector to the Balance Port of the Charger. Then connect your Balance Leads from the Batteries to the device (GTPower Twins).

Rooster previously asked the question but did not get a answer that was understandable by someone unfamiliar with electricity's properties. Therefore I will ask again: "If you have two 3S 2200 mah batteries, using this device do you charge at 2.2 amps or do you charge at 4.4 amps?"Please, a simple 2.2 or 4.4 amp charge rate answer is all that is needed to clear things up.Thank you so very much for your valuable time.

The way that this Twins device works is by fooling the charger into thinking it's charging a single 6s battery pack. 6s stands for 6 cells connected in SERIES. This is why your TWO 3s packs must be connected in SERIES and why you will charge at DOUBLE the Voltage (11.1 x 2) but the same amps (mAh rating of single battery / 100). Each cell in a 3s pack has the full mAh rating of the whole pack but they are connected in series which multiplies the Voltage (3 x 3.7V = 11.1V). So TWO 3s batteries wired in SERIES becomes the same as ONE 6s battery or (6 x 3.7V = 22.2V). In short you need to charge TWO 3s 2200 mAh batts at 2.2 amps (1C) and at 22.2 Volts.

Same issue (R:5S S:6S) with a GT Power A6.
Against my better judgement, hit "Confirmed", and carefully watched the cell voltages (Used the Balance Charge function) All SIX cells read back their individual voltages durning the charge so my assumption is that there is some quirk in the programming that id's the pack incorrectly.
Because I have seen too many of the U-Toob vids of exploding batteries, you KNOW I did this outside in my LiPo bag :)
Your mileage may vary.

I think, something is not correct on the picture. There is a double 3cell balancer female connector(yellow shrink tube) in which you can plug the balancer connectors of the two batteries. There is a 6 cell balancer male connector which you can plug into the charger's balancer port. But I see only one female T-connector, which is connected to the male connector's of the charger. And the T-connectors off the batteries? When i use the I-MAX B6 i have to plug the balancer connector e the t-plug at the charger to begn charger procces!!! It will charges the 2 batt only plugging the balance plug at this device?

Why not have these adapters for balancing 2 x 2s at one time for jst-xh type of connectors? You sell an adapter board (CY- B6 plus balancer connector) for balancing 2x3s or 3x2s packs but it only accepts Polyquest, Hyperion, TP, and Flightpower connectors. Why not the jst-xh connectors for the batteries you sell? Or am I incorrect? Thank you.

From the previous post I noticed that you can charge two 3s batteries at 6s voltage right? So if I had two 3s 2200, then I set the charger to 2.2A or 4.4A?? If 2.2A then how this device save you time since you still have to charge the batteries for two hours?
If I can set two batteries as 6s and 4400maH then this device would be great at time saving. I don't see why you need this device.

Yes, but be careful that you don't charge larger packs with dissimilar states of discharge. These chargers do not recognize when a single cell is being overcharged. They only look at overall pack voltage. (This is really a stupid implementation, but all of them except the iCharger works that way) Imagine you are charging a two 3S 5000mAh packs with the twins connector, one is fully discharged the other 50% discharged. These chargers balance circuit can only bleed 0.1 to maybe 0.3A Charging these packs at 1C (5Amps) is pouring the current in faster than the balance circuit can manage. This results in the 50% discharged pack being overcharged and the 100% discharged pack not full. The overall voltage of this 6S is 25.2V as it should be, but you probably just ruined one of your expensive batteries.

"Example: Charge Wire lead goes from charger to the Adaptor NOT THE BATTERY. You hook up (2 x 3S) to the adaptor the balance ports that is. This now makes your 2 3 cells one six cell battery at 22.2 volts. However, total should be set at in this case 2250 and can be charged at 2.2 amps only."
I have followed this instruction, but receive error message stating, "Connection Break". Output of charger is connected to adapter, and batteries of identical manufacture and capacity are plugged into adapter, voltage is set to 22.2, and capacity to 2200. What am I missing?
