Is there a link to the instructions?
I too am interested in the two "servo" wires.
   Fly Boy (72%)
The long wire is for the throttle control and the short wire is for programming with the card. I find that using the tones is easier and quicker.

This ESC Spec is 5~12s lipo but on the ESC pic show 2~12s lipo NEED HELP
   Fireflynj (70%)
I ordered this and got the 5~12s lipo one v4. (darker blue label ***********hobbycity****/hobbycity/store/catalog/TR100A-HV.jpg)
I think the 2~12s is older version.

This is a hands down Awsome controller on a 10S Set-up. However I ran it on a 12S setup and it lasted 5 flights. I will be trying the 120 Amp on next time on 12 Cells, once it is back in stock!!!! But what a GREAT ESC on 10 CELLS !!!!

Fireflynj (70%)
we ordered from USA Warehouse, of course we got a DOA and RMA says to send back to Hong Kong!? the reason we ordered from USA is because we don't want to deal with shipping back to Hong Kong. Isn't there a USA RMA?

I got this and am getting ready to try it out on 4S. But looking at the description, it says 5-12S capable. Now compare that to the picture and it clearly says 2-12S. So which is which?
   Chuck Robbins (14%)
Unless they have updated the picture, it looks to me like it says 5-12s, so if your running 4s only to be on the safe side I would run a smaller esc made for around 4s setup like the simple 50/60amp esc, I have the simple 60amp esc and it works flawlessly, a bit confusing to set up at first due to no instructions, but there is a thread on here that someome placed on here thats right down to the tee, can remember the name but thanks man, that was a lot of help.
I hope this could be of some help to you,:Chuck"

This really not made for cars or trucks. It does not have a break.

I believe it will take 2 - 12 cells of lipo.

But again......no breaks. I'm guessing this is more a airplane ESC then a car/truck one.
   Jason5001 (4%)
Never use as a car esc, it will get overloaded very quickly.

I am using 6s lipos-8000 miliamps pulling 70 amps. The rpm slowly drop off after about 30 seconds. The batteries are fine. I've tried several and they all do it. I have another Hextronic that did exactly the same thing. If I turn off the throttle and then go to full, the rpm is restored, and starts slowly dropping again.
Any help would be appreciated.

gas cars/trucks use a mechanical brake. forward only is usually required for racing. once i got used to driving w/o reverse, i didn't really miss it.

Arthur (76%)
Ummm what are the max volts one can use with these. Amps are great but the volts would be more important for my application. Oh and your link for the manual doesn't work.
   J.m. (60%)

Does this work with pistol style Tx's?
And does it have reverse?
   kai (32%)
I have the 150 6s K-Force version and it does not have reverse but it will work with an older AM style Tx's TQ transmitter, you can even program it to recognize the bottom and top throttle positions.
