I've tortured this motor to destruction. I put it on an easystar with a 6x4 sport prop and 5s and static was 83 amps. Insane power, but gets hot very fast. Gotta be careful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76G0rJzxef8 This video is with throttle limited in transmitter to 60%. I then put it in a 90mm EDF on the same battery. The rotor exploded internally at around 1800 watts or so, 125 amps. For $20, pft. Pretty good. Cost me a $20 EDF though.

Why then a 60A Esc needed?
