| Awesome little motor. I used this motor in the rcgroups fastest scratchbuilt foamie challenge and recorded a speed of 132.86mph! on 4 cells with an APC 3.9 x 4.1 prop. However this is a heli motor and not designed for use in a direct drive application. I would not recommend full thottle with the above set-up for more than a few seconds at a time.

Great motor for class 300/350 micro helicopters.
Probably too much power for a beginners like me but works really well.
My only problem was to replace the 3.17 shaft with the 2.3 one provided with the motor (really hard to remove the shaft...)

Installed on a HBK2. Perfect with 10 t pinion and 3s 1800 battery. Very happy with this one, no heat issues and enough power for this heli.
this is my 3rd KD motor. All of them are very good (in- and out- runners !)

I install it with 10T pinion on hbk2.
This motor come with 2 shafts. Changing the shaft is very easy, there is a grub screw at the tail of the motor unscrew it and change the shaft then screw it back. It is easy to change a pinion too because you can pull the shaft and install a pinion on the shaft outside motor. But there are no plug connectors comes along with the motors so you should order plug connectors with it.
This motor has a lot of power and high efficiency. With 1500 mAh battery it can fly over 15 minutes. The power is plentiful for 3D flight.

Bought this for the interchangeable shaft, as I keep on breaking them. This motor has proven to be a great, and inexpensive investment. I installed it on my Walkera 36,
30A ESC
3S 2200 mah lipo
and I get great performance. Highly recommended, great value for money.

It's a very good motor, i've mounted it on a multiplex picojet with a 5.25 x 4.75 prop and a 1300 mAh 3S Lipo 25C, the picojet is slight (500 g) and the power is huge ! the vertical flight is unlimited and the speed is very important.

Works great in my HoneyBee King V2 helicopter. Tried with 9 tooth pinion, doesn't get hot at all. Will try later with 10 tooth pinion for a little more headspead.

This motor is quite nice, however I could not remove the 3.17mm shaft no matter what I tried to do. I will keep this for my 450 Size heli when I get it. Going to order another motor in the mean time. Thanks Hobby City..

Ein super Motor zu einem unglaublichen Preis.
Ich betreibe ihn an 3S Rhino 30C 1350mah Lipos in Verbindung mit einer APC 4,75x4,75.
Der Motor zieht geloggt mit Eagle Tree V3 Datenlogger 35 Amp bei knapp 350Watt Leistung und lässt meine MIG-29 zu einer Rakete werden. Super Leistung und Mator wird kaum warm dabei!

| Great motor. Good quality. Fits great with my HBK2! Used 11 tooth and flies perfect. It's very quiet too. The motor and 25 amp ESC is just barely warm. It hoovered for 12 minutes

| This motor is fairly good quality and cheap, similar motors cost $30+ from US dealers. I am using it on a HBK2 with 12t Rhino pinion. Motor case is VERY close to servo arm. Decent power, but it gets a little hot. In a helicopter, installing abec 3 bearings is a good idea.

| Works better than the recommended Walkera brushless. Had to modify the shaft (needed a flat side) for the helical pinion gear. Does not heat up compared to the WK brushless and develops good headspeed. Modified the throttle setting in my Hitec 7 as the motor seems to generate more rpm at point "3" making the 68B suddenly jump. Hovers nicely for a little above 10 minutes using a 3S 2400 Mah lipo. Will get another to try on a HeliMax 400....

| Nice motor construction is good , motor diameter is bit bigger for my HBK2 just do a bit of grinding to fit the motor, running perfectly on 10t.

I'v mounted this motor to my miniRaptor E325.
2 shafts with different and popular dia is a great idia.
I have another heli-HeliMax MX400-with Hyperion BL motor (~90$)
I don't see the difference in any kind of flights.
The price/quality is tremendous.

| Great Motor I am using for my HB King and a selfconstructed Hughes 300 with DF60 Metal Head! 2 Shafts are delivered (3 mm and 2,3mm) and changing them is very easy, no special tools (puller) is required!!

I just put my KD KA400H in my ESky Honeybee King 2, geared with an 11 tooth pinion. This gives me a great headspeed and a perfectly locked in tail.
The sound of it is really kool. It's got a really high pitched scream to it, but it runs kool to slightly warm to the touch.
If it wasn't so hard to remove the mounted 3 mm shaft for exchanging it to the 2.3 mm shaft, i'd give this motor a full 5-star rating. Due to it being really tricky to remove, i "only" rate it as a 4-star product.
