BAE Hawk EDF kit
WingSpan:
960mm
Length: 1030mm
Weight: 350g

This kit is a full kit, complete with the following.
Brushless Outrunner & EDF
40A Brushless Speed Controller
Foam Glue
Accessories
Landing gear & steerable nose wheel.

This is a beautifully painted and detailed kit. Its no wonder the BAE Hawk has a cult following and very popular amoung EDF enthusiests!
The wing comes lightened and includes balsa inserts for the aileron servos.
It will take you around 3-4hrs to finish this model.

Required.
2200mah 14.8v Lipo (Not included)
Servos (Aileron, elevator, rudder) 9-20g sized
Receiver
Wiring accessories, such as shrink tube, connectors and 12AWG silicon wire.
5min or 15min Epoxy Glue.

Building tips.
Fan is built into the kit, so be sure to test the power system prior to installation. We recomend epoxy glue for a faster build. Included glue can take up to 1day to dry completely.

*Plane will fly well if run with a 5S or 6S pack. A 3S pack will not power the EDf sufficiently.
EDF fan has been replaced with a larger and more robust unit.

I bet some people are wishing this was stocked in the USA as well. I am so tried of waiting for great products to come. Yeah, I know about EMS service. Great by the way, but we can stock some more in the USA warehouse too right HK?

So what does it come with? A 2200MAH or something different?

Is the included speed controller sufficient for the 5s or 6s lipo battery? Does the kit include a 5s or 6s lipo battery?

Thanks,
Carter

I've just received this set.
The included ESC is a Suppo 70A, 4s to 8s. (good ESC)
The included battery is a 3s 2200mAh (useless with the Hawk)
The included Fan with an "outrunner" motor is useless. I've flown it with a 4s battery and after 20s the fan was melted...
Now I ordered a new fan with a 36-50 inrunner.
Let's see how this setup will work.
Regards, Joe

Joe, when did you get this kit? What is your new 4s power system?
   joemanner (80%)
I´ve received this kit end of June 2008.
The new setup is:
Turnigy 36-50 2700kv
EDF Ducted Fan Unit 7 Blade 3inch
3700mAh 4s Lipo
70A Suppo ESC

Its Normal Controls * Aileron, elevator, rudder ,throttle *not like cheap vector thrust planes. People who gave it bad reviews have clearly setup the CG badly probably due to the ***r instructions*It is a great plane if built correctly *4000+ mAh battery needed (Engine draws >=45 Amps at full throttle). So let someone experienced help build it.
   simon.castle (92%)
where would the correct CG be please ?
   Patrick (84%)
So what is the proper C.G. location?
