This motor is excatly what I was searching for. I use it in a Depron Pilatus PC6 (home made), 1,60m wing span, flying weigh is more than 1kg (1,2 with my camera). It turns a 9*3,8 prop. I use it with a 40A oemrc ESC and Hobby-city 2500mAh 20c 3S lipo. I fly about 10 minutes with a battery (cells curent drope to 3,8v), half trotle is enought power to fly, 3/4 trotle and I feel that my plane flies realy too fast...
It doesn't come hot during fly (at half trotle).
There are juste one problem, hobby-city sent me this motor on the brand Turnigy, it looks exactly the same has this one, same size, weigh, caracteristic. I was surprised but it work's.
It comes with a spinner no need to buy an other, but hole prop must me 6mm, SF props suit perfectly.
After about 10 flys a can say that it's good product at good price!!! 28 people like this review.

| Put it in a Parkzone T-28 Trojan. Used recommended 9x6 JXF prop and it HAULS ASS! Its a real HOT ROD now! You'll be thrilled you upgraded with this puppy! Also used Turnigy Plush 30 Amp ESC and 20-30C Flightmax Battery. Don't try the stock prop as it is too much for this motor. Don't forget to order a prop adapter (Item TPSA-4MM). You will need to ream the prop hole larger. Use a prop reamer. Drilling wont do it. I also tried a 35-36C (Lower RPM). Its not anywhere near as exciting as this faster motor. The 1100 is nice, but not massive unlimited vertical that I got out of this faster motor. Look in the customer community forum as I will post how to mount it in a T-28. 10 people like this review.

| Purchased unit for a power glider - flying weight 3 pounds. This replaces an AXI 2808/24 & then a Himax 2816 motor. All used a 2100mAh 11.1v Li-poly battery with a 25a ESC. I now have a rocket with wings. Vertical flight/wingovers/immelmans are now a part of flightplan. I now fly at 30% throttle with vertical & inverted flight now possible. Flight time is over 10 minutes with combo & throttle management. 5-star match made for the sky's the limit! 6 people like this review.

Wow! Bought this to replace the Park-480 in my ParkZone T-28 Trojan, which only weighs 900g or so. Holy smokes - with the stock 9.5x7.5 prop it just goes straight up all you want.
I had to change the timing on my ESC up one notch from the (default) lowest setting or it screeched if I hit WOT suddenly. 5 people like this review.

Better to use this rocker on 2S lipo's. This in combination with a APC 80*38 prop gives plenty of power, and an amp draw of 26 amps. On 3S lipo, I can only give 50% throttle, amp draw exceeds above 30 amps (and my speedcontrollers don't like that.) 4 people like this review.

Hello HC Fans,
I am using this power machine with the H9 5s 2300mAH Lipo in my Multiplex FunJet. Well, it is a little tricky to mount the motor, because there is little space. The FunJet weight is now 870g and i use a APC Speed 6,5x5. Ulimited vertical speed!!! I am loving it... 4 people like this review.

| This is an excellent motor. I have it in a overweight Mini-Telemaster on 3cell 2200 with 9x3.8 prop, Extra 2 cell Lion for custom Lights for night flight. Plane comes in about 3 lbs. This motor will pull the plane vertical at 3/4 throttle. I have be careful of the torque sometimes at take off because it is so much fun to watch people's reaction to my 3 foot runway. 3 people like this review.

Great product at a low price. Good quality and fast shipping. I have used this motor TR 35-36A 1450kv Brushless Outrunner to power my E Flight 260 Extra from Hanger 9. Needed to make small motor mount adjustments to the plane as the plane is built for the E Flight 480 outrunner. After that no other modification was necessary
I chose the 10x5 apc prop as suggested on Hobby City’s website with a 2100mAh Hobby City Lipo 30c battery. Now I have seen planes fly with the standard setup and let me tell you, no match to the setup I have used. Vertical performance, unbelievable. The high KV rating of the motor gives a lot of speed that gives a huge advantage with some aerobatic maneuvers such as knives edge loops.
On the down side, high kv motors have got bigger power consumption, thus less flying time. Other than that I can really recommend this combination.

Good power... 400w using 3s Zippy 2500 20c on a 8x6E. Drew about 45a. It even stayed reasonably cool during that 3 minute torture test. Overall, pretty good motor. However, mine is out of balance somewhere... vibrates terribly and is plenty noisey! 2 people like this review.

I bought TR 35-36A 1450kv Brushless Outrunn and TR_S40A TURNIGY Sentry 40amp Speed Control. It is very strong power and very smooth. I installed it into greatplanes Lancair. It was over powerd and very fast. Everything is much much better than I expected. I love it Thanks A++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 people like this review.
