Hello,
I am wondering which of these motors is the best one for a GWS64 : HXT2435, HXT2835 or HXT2445? Thank you!
TrustyRuss (7 points) 1/13/2010
If possible, can we please get an estimate of when stock is arriving?

I need these to finish my plane!

Where?!!
Martin Lang (50 points) 11/23/2009

What sort of motor mount is best for this brushless?
SteveC68 (2 points) 9/19/2009
Could you redesign this motor to have a 2.3mm shaft? Seriously with 2mm shaft there are no EDFs that will fit this motor.

Ummm A gws! Either 55 Or 64mm

Hi

can i use this motor for F-15 eagle 64mm?
Jon (0 points) 9/9/2009
I just got 3 of these in. Initial testing on a gws 55mm EDF shows 27A draw on 3s and 13A on 2s 1300mAh lipos. No thrust data yet. So far they seem like they will preform great in my GWS A-10 warthog.

I'm a little confused here. The description says that an 18A ESC is required but also says the max load is 26A. I was hoping to use this motor in a 1/18 RC Car with the EZ-Run 18A ESC on a 2S lipo battery. Will that ESC be sufficient for this motor? The ESC has a burst current of 50A.

Thanks!!

I have a 25A ESC. With a lot of traction my esc warms up a little! With a 18A esc you run low temp on sand or dirt! On the carpet and asfalt it will get very hot because it as a lot of traction... The motor is fantastic. Very fast and has a lot of torque =)

Is there a flat spot on the shaft? for the setscrew of the pinion
  Reply:  Henrique (19 points);
There is no flat spot but with liquid thread lock you do not have a problem... This motor needs to a diferent motor mount for the motor. The screw is M3! But the motor is very good! I have one for racing =)

Hi, I got a vendetta st, should i get this motor? i want about 60-70mph (2s-3s lipo)
  Reply:  Ben (14 points);
Too small for a vendetta St
  Reply:  Alexandre (116 points);
so i should get the KB20-30-18S 5200kv Brushless Motor (FIN)
Or the 6200kv one? i want high top speeds. (around 60-70mph)
I plan on using 2s and 3s , and i want a motor that is best for both.
Or is it best to use 1 motor with only one type of lipo (2cell or 3cell?)
Speed = 2cell and high kv, Torque is 3cell and low kv?
Is that how it works?
What do u suggest? I have 2 rhino 3s 1050s laying around and also 2 2s flightmax 800's
Best to use the 3s packs with low kv motor? and just not use the 2s?

I just got this motor 2days ago, I'm goin to use it on a 64mm edf, what kind of unit can you recommend? thanks.
  Reply:  bare (136 points);
This should Fit Perfectly into a GWS 64mm unit.. Buy the one HK sells complete with the brushed motor and substitute the 2435

wich is the more apropriate inrunner motor for the multiplex easy Glider?.
Thank you
  Reply:  Martin Lang (50 points);
Depends if its the Easyglider Pro or the Easyglider Electric.
For the Pro version they use a big outrunner like the Turnigy 35-42 1100kv. Search the forums at RCGroups and you will get the answers.
