For the last 6 months, I have have been using 3 of these servos for collective control on my Trex 450. Over that time I have had numerous bad crashes and the metal gears have not stripped once.
Performance wise, the speed of these servos is probably on par with traditional Trex servos, like the HS65s and HS56s, but they don't have quite the same smooth feel. Centering accuracy and power are more than sufficient for a Trex-450.
They do draw a considerable amount of current. Three of these servos, combined with a receiver, gyro and small digital tail servo, manage to overload the 2Amp BEC on my speed controller (The ESC overheats after about 5 minutes of hard sports flying and light 3D).
The supplied horns are brittle, so be careful when trimming them.

| These servos appear to have the same motors and feedback pots as the Hitec HS81 and have proven to provide excellent torque. I'm using then in a slow-flying SuperTigre-90 powered UAV with no problems and on the elevator of my 52-powered Bobcat pusher-jet. Only one failure so far but that was after more abuse than an HS81 could ever take.

| This servo has just been fitted to a small slope glider with a Spektrum 2.4Ghz radio system, it is very fast and precise - a high quality servo, it's shallow depth would make it suitable for wing mounting and is supplied with full size output arms.

Not a good servo in general.
FYI, I do a great deal of business with HC and they are excellent. So this review is just in detail for this product.
I Originally purchased 2 of these servos to test for replacment for HS-65, One of the servos was defective on arrival. The other servo, was noisy and weak in Torque.
I try not to react as sometimes you get unlucky, especially with all the purchases I make. However I ordered a couple more and again one was dead on arrival and the other one worked fine, just not as smooth and a little sloppy on centering.
So All in all I have to give the product a 1 star so as to be fair on others who are inquiring.
Again hobby City is Excellent, and you have to hand it to review to help in purchase making.

I use this servo (altually used servo from my freind Trijanto) for my spitfire. The performance is very good, till one day I have an accident. The plane totally broken but the servo still alife.

| Good servos .I use them in my phase 3 F-16 on the tailerons. My friend uses them on the swash of his mini titan also. Im going to use them on my heli as well, when my current servos have had enough...........

| I have 2 of these servos in the tail of my F16 EDF. At over 100MPH my f16 needs strong servos with smooth operation. These 2 servos have proved a great investment, are quick and have little slop. I would certainly consider these on par with the HS65 MG and for a fraction of the price. Only con is the short servo leads, but hey, you can get extensions cheap here too!

Good Centering, but noisy.. Always has a buzzing sound to it. But for that price.. Its great! Using it for my warm liner. Works great, just wished it could work quieter. Thanks UH for cheap MG's!

I use this servo as a replacement for Hitec HS65HB (Carbon gear) and i am very satisfied. They are small enough to fit in my small Hotliner. Also a replcement for Dymond D60 or Futaba FS40. Great deal for that price! Will by more...

I purchased 12 of these little beauties in two separate orders and unfortunately with each order I received a bad servo (1 out of 6 each time).
The first had a loose solder joint on the PCB inside the servo and was repairable. The second servo fails intermittently to travel in one direction under zero loadsomething wrong with the internal sensors I'm afraid as no motion is set forth in the gear train.
Otherwise these are very good servos for the price and well suited for very small applications where precision is needed.
Be sure to take note of the low torque these produce as that may limit your installations. That comes at the cost of very fast transit times which are excellent.

I have been using this servo for my warbird (Hayate Nakajima) and it crashed two times (the body was totally broken, very-very bad conditiion).
The Hayate has been fixed and fly again now (3 weeks without crashed) and it using this servo again.
The servos are still good (after 2 times crashed), no damage and still precision.
HXT 9314MG is very nice and very tough servo ever I used. I will buy more, but they are out of stock now. I recommend using this servo for your plane.

Cheap, light, good parts included,
BUT! While others I know love them, of the 4 I ordered, 1 died within 10 minutes of installation. The other 3 are ok, noisy and fine on JR RX TX on high rates but are sluggish on Dual Rates Low settings.
Going back to HS-55's

| i have three of this, all work as described. use on EF Extra300, AUW 1kg. use it on all controls except on rudder which i use her bigger brother,HXT9320MG. 4 star bcos speed a bit slow towards centre. otherwise still good servo, but not as good as the 9320MG.

| I bought 3 of these servos for SuperZoom 4d. Comparing to the hs65mg they have the same speed and torque for the half of hs65mg price. I have been using them for 4 months and they work good even after crashes.

Hace varios meses que los llevo en el Easy Glider y me han ido perfectos, no piedenden el centro ni tampoco tiemblan al cabo del tiempo. En un aterrizaje fuerte, en el servo del ala que llevo sin protección rompí la palanca del servo "Arm" pero los piñomes metalicos aguantaron perfectamente.Cambié la palanca y siguió funcionando sin ningun problema.
Es un servo totalmente recomendable
