I got one of these and it runs like a dog on a 3 cell lipo.. I tested other motors with the ESC and battery and its the motor, really really slow and no power. Connected to Watts up and it draws a total of 0.8A at full throttle with a 40A ESC..
Am I missing something or is this just a dud?

I have just bought this motor to replace the brushed motor on my Sig EP42. Do you know of a stock motor mount to bolt directly to the firewall.

I made a motor mount out of 3/16" lite ply. Now to see if it will fly.

The motor mount works great and the motor runs very good but the prop adapter is no good. ***r metal and the threads stripped when I tightened the prop.

Hi - can anybody tell me the dimensions of the motor (not the shaft) please? cheers.

Hi
Is it possible to use this motor on a CAP 232 from 930mm wing span and 800mm lenght? I suppose you have to use then a 9X6 prop but is it powerful enough?

Hi, I am looking for a replacement prop adapter for this motor, the one that attaches via 4 screws. Is this product carried by hobby king? If so could somebody send me a link?

Trying a direct link as the former was mangled...
  Reply:  Beaufighter (754 points);
Arrgh... That was mangled too, sorry... Try searching for "accessory" and you'll find it:)

thanks:)

I cannot find this prop adapter either. The one that came with my motor was not very good material and the threads stripped when I tightened the prop. I need one too
  Reply:  David (2 points);
I looked under all kinds of accessories and cannot find it.

Very easy to find* In your address field in your browser (IE, firefox) the last bit of URL in the line says ?idproduct=2048 (or whatever number.) simply delete the number and change to 7198 which is the product number of the KDA A20-**M motor accessory Pack.

I intend to buy two of these for my "Protech Voyager", a foam twin-motor plane which looks like a twin star, 140cm wingspan. What ESC's should I buy ?

I use this motor with the Turnigy Plush 25A ESC and it works wery good with this motor.

hi can you tell me the diameter for this motor please.
Steff

If you meant the diameter of the axel - it is 3,175mm
The diameter of the opposite mounting device seems to be about5mm - I drill holes in GWS and other props to fit them.

I was wondering if I can buy parts for this motor...specifically the X mount adapter on the back and the prop adapter on the front.Thanks
