Hi, I am quite confused. 56$ is for 1qm or 3 qm. It seems, that the price is for 3 qm taking in account the price for 160g/qm.

Hi,
Consider selling all your composites in 1m. width. The reason is that we need to cut it at 45 degrees for use in moulded wings.

You should consider smaller-cheaper sheets. This is good for new building but to much for repairs or reinforcements.

Im sure if we did that customers would ask for longer sheets for wing skins and the like. We will consider smaller sheets, however.

Jason - I and probalbly most of us use just small pieces of cf for reinforcements. I build my models mostly from thin glass fiber (48-125g/m). CF goes only to high-stressed points. In my case 3m2 would be enough to make 10 hulls of my speedboats...(glass+cf mixed)

I see, so 1x1mtr would be more suitable?

I could use a 1mX1m sheet now, but don't necessarily stop selling the 3m stuff. At some point (less than a year), I would consider building an all cf plane. I've priced cf and this is a very good price.

Does it ship rolled, or is it folded as shown? Carbon fibre is damaged by folding....
The 1mx3m is a good size for me.

Any details on the properties of the tow (modulus, tensile strength) that this is made from?

i was juist thinking the same thing? rolled is the only way youll sell this.... anyone who kknows how to work w/ fiber knows it aint easy as the weave always wants to come apart until dressed w/ epoxy or poly..and i have 6 yards in the garage right now jason!! so us high end boat builders use tons of c.f!!! a little too pricy after shipping though..:( cheaper to but locally).

Way to go Jason. That was a fast response. If a quantity of 2 was ordered would it be one sheet 2m long on 1 roll, 2 1m sheets on 2 rolls or 2 1m sheets on 2 rolls?

Not likely. This isn't even a 1mX1m sheet. It's 2 sheets of 1000mmX500mm
